About Conflict Free Diamonds and Kimberly Diamond Process
We have continuously fought the importing of conflict diamonds since the founding of Javda Jewelry. We never deal in conflict diamond sales. Not even once.
We Never Sell Conflict Diamonds

Only responsibly mined and disseminated diamonds will be purchased and sold by Javda Jewelry.
What are "Conflict Diamonds"?

Conflict diamonds are those that are mined outside of official control, in conflict zones or in areas under rebel control. Diamonds from these regions are used by people to unlawfully fund military operations against governments or UN Security Council resolutions. Conflict diamonds are sometimes referred to as "blood diamonds."
The problem of conflict diamonds, also known as "blood diamonds," has been addressed by the United Nations. Working conditions in the conflict diamond mining regions are frequently exceedingly difficult and cruel.
The Kimberley Process

Global experts convened in Kimberley, South Africa in May 2000 to establish guidelines for the certification of ethical diamonds. The diamond industry has instituted a certification procedure called the Kimberley Process (KP) to guarantee that diamonds are free from conflict.
Participating nations and areas comprise the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme as of September 2021. This simplified the process of comprehending and monitoring diamond exports.
The DTC says that 99.8% of imported diamonds are certified as conflict-free since the implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). Customers who hunt for diamonds verified by the Kimberley Process can steer clear of purchasing conflict diamonds. Consider lab-grown or lab-created diamonds as well; unlike mined diamonds, these have no ethical issues. Diamonds free of conflict that don't encourage armed conflict or violations of human rights are guaranteed by the Kimberley Process supply chain.
Clean Diamond Trade Act

Protecting the genuine diamond trade is the aim of the Clean Diamond Trade Act.
Certificate of Origin
A well-designed Certificate of Origin system ensures that conflict-free diamonds from regions under government control are sold on the international market. Only diamonds from these locations will be offered for sale, thanks to this system's assurance. It stops diamonds from conflict areas from being sold. The system guarantees that diamonds from government-controlled regions are sold on the international market.
Those who disobey the new regulations face high fines and are barred from the actual diamond industry.
